About Us
HISTORY
HERA GmbH was founded in 2008 in Lower Franconia by Thomas Nöth. After just two successful business years, we were able to expand into the European and US markets. In 2010 the company was renamed GMBH, and in 2016 HERA LLC was founded in Salt Lake City Utah. Formerly founded as a small company, we have a volume of more than 2,500m3 in our US logistics center in South Concord Park Bluffdale alone. With our local manufacturing and production sites, our internal capacities add up to almost 5,000m3. In order to remain competitive in the future, in addition to the existing capacities, an area of over 7,000m2 was developed as early as 2019.
PRODUCTION
About 80% of our products are machined in our main building in Triefenstein. All housing parts such as upper, lower, handguards, rail systems, pistol stocks, etc. are manufactured here on our own machine park. Mechanical post-processing such as vibratory grinding and robot-assisted glass bead blasting also takes place here. Our machine park relies 100% on cutting machines from the manufacturer DMG Mori AG. Firearms are also manufactured at our location in Triefenstein and various assemblies are assembled. About 20% of the machining production, mainly in the area of turning machining, takes place at one of our production partners in Kreuzwertheim, 8 kilometers away. As a partner at the birth of HERA and as a renowned company with experience in medical technology, the automotive industry and in mechanical and plant engineering, you can draw on decades of experience.
POLYMER PRODUCTS
In addition to our manufacturing capacities in the machining area, we also have a strong polymer division. Here we produce z. Currently on over 36 active injection mold products for the global market. The consistent in-house development as well as the production location in Germany clearly distinguishes us from the competition. As a manufacturing partner for our polymer production, we also rely on the many years of experience of one of our suppliers in Altfeld, 6 kilometers away. This is where our injection molds are stored, maintained and used for production. In addition to machines in the entire tonnage spectrum, our partner also has a tool and mold construction department as well as extensive capacities in the development area.
EXPORT
We have been exporting constantly to the North American market since 2010. With the founding of HERA LLC in 2016, we were able to further expand our presence on the US market and strengthen existing structures. As a supplier to the most important US wholesalers such as RSR or Sport South, we provide proof that we can exist in one of the most competitive markets with quality and innovation. In addition to our US involvement, we can now also boast a worldwide network of importers and resellers.
COMMERCIAL GOODS
Our focus is on the development, construction and market launch of innovative products for the civil market. In our product range, however, you will also find merchandise or, with slight changes or adjustments, products specially manufactured for us. We usually mark these with AOT (Articles of Trade).
